I was very surprised to see you publish this article, so clearly inspired by the Clubhouse room you had hosted shortly before with Nora Bateson, without any reference to it, her, or her work.
You say "I’m hearing many people now talking about the need to be translingual, transcultural, transcontextual, and transperspectival…" It would have been much more constructive to name her (and perhaps others that you're referring to).
You say "While the meaning of each of these specific terms is still largely unclear…" when, in my opinion at least, she made her interpretation of some of these terms lucidly clear.
All this would have taken was an introductory paragraph giving her important work the same professional respect you gave to Wilbur and Korzybski. (Or even better, some specific quotes from the substantial notes you told me you took.) I'm veey disappointed that you didn't.
